INDALUM, S.A. founded in 1978, and part of Grupo Industrial LM, S.A. de C.V., manufactures aluminium tubes and profiles for a variety of different uses, among which architectural applications for the construction industry, home appliances, transport, communications etc..

In December=2015, INDALUM awarded a second important contract to Danieli Breda, this time for a complete extrusion plant equipped with a 3100UST Front Loading press with the most modern technologies available on the market.
The Monterrey location has casting, extrusion, anodizing and painting facilities, and the new 3100UST extrusion line shall extend the product range to improve INDALUM’s market position.

Gas consumption in the furnace will be enhanced thanks to the use of optimum combustion ratio and the implementation of regenerative inlet air pre-heating, using exhaustion heat. Heating zones will be independently controlled with different temperature settings.
Press design is the front loading type, the hydraulic system is equipped with the new ESED, including three (3) axial piston main pumps, each equipped with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), optimising energy savings.
A new cooling box, developed with the support of INNOVAL, will maximise the cooling rate thus granting perfect profile quality also where special alloys are utilised.
